Hello, @drlockwooddc-com.

I'm here to help you fix your web connect (.QBO) file in QuickBooks.

It seems that you've used the QuickBooks Desktop version since you've used a web connect file in importing transactions.

There are some possible reasons why you've received No new transactions message in your account. These are the following:

  • The mentioned file doesn't have any current transactions.
  • The data have already been imported.
  • Your Web Connect (.QBO) statement covers dates previously imported into the company file.
  • Your QuickBooks company file may be corrupted.

To resolve this, let's check the date to make sure that the date range is correct and doesn't overlap.

If the issue continues, I'd suggest toggling your banking preferences. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Edit menu then choose Preferences.
  2. Hit the Company Preferences tab.
  3. Pick Classic Mode and tap OK

After that, I'd advise you to re-download your QBO file in a test company file.

  1. Go to the File menu then choose New Company.
  2. Click Express Start or Start Setup
  3. Hit Create Company and choose Start Working
  4. From there, go to Lists, then click Chart of Accounts to add the account.
  5. Tap New, then complete the required data.
  6. Press Save and close

Next is to set up the account for bank feeds and download bank feed transactions to test the account.

If the issue persists, please visit this link and follow Solution 4 and 5 displayed in this article: Message: "No new transactions" when importing web connect file.

In regards to the imported transactions that will be deleted after importing, the answer is NO. All imported data will remain in your QBO account as long you didn't delete them.

As of now, there isn't a way to unblock the importing of Online bank data in QBO.

I've also added articles about fixing some errors, categorizing transactions, and other related topics.

Please know that I'm always here if you need it in the future. I'd be glad to answer any additional questions should you have any. Keep safe!
