Hello!!
I'm working on a Paypal and bank reconciliation for the month of july 2019. There was a transfer from the bank to the PayPal account on June 30th. The transfer hit the PayPal account right away but hit the bank on July 1st. When we uploaded the transactions from the bank feed, the transfer was uploaded with july 1st date. I now have this transfer in my PayPal account that I don't know how to reconcile because it's not from July (it shows up in the june's statement not july's). I would try to exclude the transaction and it would work fine for PayPal because the transfer would disappear and I would be able to reconcile it but I will be missing that transfer to reconcile the bank. Does this make sense? Can anyone help me? Do I have to do a adjusting journal entry?
