Paypal transactions have not downloaded on banking screen to review since 4/12. QBO is connected to Paypal. Shows 42 transactions to review on P+L dashboard.

Paypal transactions have not downloaded on banking screen to review since 4/12. QBO is connected to Paypal. Shows 42 transactions to review on P+L dashboard.

PayPal may be having security updates with QuickBooks right now. I suggest reaching out to PayPal support to verify the connection. Also, you can sign in to your PayPal account site if they have announcements and notifications that need your attention.

 

Since the transactions to review are on the Dashboard and wasn't able to download it in banking, I recommend updating PayPal banking manually. It will update all your bank and credit card accounts.

 

Here's how:

  1. Go to Transactions.
  2. Select Banking.
  3. Choose the PayPal blue tile.
  4. Click Update.

If the issue persists, I suggest getting the latest PayPal transactions using WebConnect. You can refer to this article for the detailed steps: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

 

Once done, I'll add this article as your reference in categorizing bank transactions: Assign, categorize, edit, and add your downloaded banking transactions.

 

Just in case you wanted to handle your PayPal transactions the same way as other bank transactions: Use the Connect to PayPal app.
