Pnc connection down

Is anyone else’s PNC bank feed not able to presently update? It’s been since May 14th!!! How is this acceptable? We are running our businesses through this system and there appears to be a complete lack of urgency to fix this issue. I’ve called SEVERAL times only to be told that they are aware of an issue.

Let's get this working for you, Alliehosler1.

Before we start, I'd like to ask, did you encounter a specific error code or message? This can help me verify if there's an ongoing investigation so I can provide a more accurate steps to fix this.

In the meantime, let's begin sorting this connectivity issue with PNC bank by going to your bank's website and check if there are ongoing system maintenance or updates.

Otherwise, if you haven't tried manually updating you bank, I suggest performing this to refresh the connection between your bank and QBO.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu,
  2. Select Update. If you only want to update some accounts, select the unwanted ones, then select Update now.
  3. If asked, enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials. Then select Continue update.

For common bank errors and their fix, feel free to go over this article: What to do if you see a bank error or bank transactions won’t download.

I'm always here to help if you have any other concerns or questions. Stay safe and have a great rest of the day!

The error code is 101. Every quickbooks staff member I’ve spoken to says it’s a known issue that could take up to a month to resolve!!!!!! I’m not manually adding transactions because then I’ll have duplicates when the system comes back up. This is such a joke.

Every quick books staff member I’ve spoken to says this is a known PNC issue and they have no idea how long it will take to resolve but could take 30 days. This is so ridiculous...! I’m not manually uploading the transactions because I won’t be able to deal with the duplicates one the system comes back. Someone please help!!!!!!

Pnc connection down

Good Morning, @Alliehosler1

Thanks for reaching back out to the Community. I see how this can be time-consuming when trying to run your business. Our Product Engineers are working hard to resolve this PNC 101 error code as soon as possible. Manually uploading the transactions is the confirmed workaround to use to see the transactions on the Banking page in QuickBooks Online. You can contact our Customer Support Team to be added to a list of affected users so you can receive updates on this investigation via email.

If there's anything else I can do for you, don't hesitate to let me know. Take care!

The work around is not only time co aiming but also creates a lot of issues. Deleting duplicate transactions when the system resolves itself is not easily accomplished. Odds are good that using that workaround will create a ton of other issues. I want to know what is being done. How is this not priority number1??? And if it is, why would reconnecting a bank with your system take more than a few days!? Also- WHY are you charging the companies being affected???? We are unable to use the system until you correct the problems so where is the compensation for the massive issue this is causing our company and I’m sure the accounts receivable of many other companies???
