Print Checks stopped working

I entered checks into Write Checks but when I go to Print Checks it says "There are no checks to print". I have done it exactly this way for a year now with no issue.

Print Checks stopped working

Hello JennyTown,

 

There are different factors why we encounter this error. It could be:
     • The connection between the computer and the printer is unstable. 
     • The program or file is damaged.

 

Let's do a few troubleshooting steps to get rid of the error and print the checks. We can verify if the Print Later box is checked in the Write Checks transaction first. If not, mark a check on it. Then, Save & Close and try to print the checks again. 

 

If the error still shows, let's update your QuickBooks to the latest release. After, install the PDF repair tool. You can follow Solution 1 in this article: Troubleshoot PDF And Print Problems With QuickBooks Desktop.

 

If you need more troubleshooting steps to fix this, you can follow Solution 2 and 3.

I have updated with the latest version of QB desktop 2020, pdf stopped working. 

 

"Missing PDF Component"

Please let me know how to fix this problem.

We currently received reports regarding this issue and our Engineers are working to get this resolved as soon as possible. 

 

In the meantime, I recommend performing the troubleshooting steps provided by my colleague until we find a permanent solution. Also, please reach out to our Desktop Support so they can add you to the list of affected users and notify you through email once this is available.
