Welcome to the Community, @SSchnurr. I want to help ensure you're able to connect your online banking account with QuickBooks.
When Add password to Keychain is enabled during the initial Online Banking setup, QuickBooks will attempt to use the previously saved password when it connects. Thus, updating your online banking password from your bank's website will give you an error message when you try to connect to QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
To resolve the issue, you need to delete the previously saved password and re-launch Online Banking. Here's how:
- Double-click the Macintosh HD icon on your desktop.
- Go to Application, then select Utilities.
- Select Keychain Access.
- Search for your Online Banking password, then select Delete.
- Close then reopen your company file and go to Download transaction, then select Download all.
Type your current password as soon as the option to enter your password pops up. QuickBooks will connect to your bank and download transactions.
