Join nowI am using QB 2016 and I installed it on my home computer and my computer at the office. I done a large amount of work and when I restored the data on the office computer the loan manager button was missing from the banking tab. I called tech support and after 1 and a half hours was told that 2016 is not supported and since it is a ad on it just dropped off! well if it just dropped off why did it not drop off the house computer, BECAUSE its still there.
Any ideas???? They gave me a key to use QB 2020 for 4 months but waited to tell me I can only use the key one 1 computer and its on the office one, and with the covid19 I do a lot of work from home.
Any ideas????????
Hi there, rb62.
Trial accounts or licenses can be installed on a different computer. However, it can only be used by a single user.
Aside from that, the data that you've entered in office computer will not be synced to the one that you're using at home. Although, you can create a back up copy of the file that you're working with. Then, restore it whenever moving to a different location where QuickBooks is also installed.

The support team is very generous to give you a 4 months trial license to the unsupported version. Should you need to purchase a new license, consider purchasing thru a partner for a lower price. You may get Pro 2020 1 user for < $200
