QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2020. I downloaded all 2019 transactions and I was categorizing them by account. I hit wrong button and I lost it all. Can I retrieve the work?

By downloading do you mean importing bank transactions? Yes you should at a minimum be able to download and import again. Only if you had saved a backup after downloading and before hitting wrong button can you go back to where you were.  There are no "undo" arrow buttons like there are in Word or Excel

By downloading do you mean importing bank transactions? Yes you should at a minimum be able to download and import again. Only if you had saved a backup after downloading and before hitting wrong button can you go back to where you were.  There are no "undo" arrow buttons like there are in Word or Excel

Thank you, resolved!  I did  import each transaction as I went along. I edited each one entering payee and to which account in chart of accounts it belonged to thinking it would be there later to pick up where I left off. It was my first time using the desktop version of QB. In the past I used the online version which is so different. You were able to save any transaction before importing it. I couldn’t find the answer because that feature doesn’t exist in the desktop version.
