If you updated anything on your bank’s website, like your account number, username, or password, update QuickBooks as well. Good job that you tried to update it. If it didn't save, we can log in to QuickBooks and update your bank info through a private browser. This prevents from storing cache files that causes unexpected behaviors in QuickBooks. Also, open a new tab to access your bank's website and see if you can log in without errors.
Once done, let's manually download the bank transaction to get the latest available transactions. Just go to the Banking menu and select Update at the upper-right. You can also check out this article on what to do if bank transactions won’t download or there's a bank error.
