I'll share insight on your query about bank transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Before we proceed, be advised that the text under the Description column is from your financial institution. The option to edit the information under this column is unavailable.
Going back to the bank rule, here's how you can create it:
- Highlight the Transactions tab.
- Select Rules.
- Click New rule.
- Type in a name for the rule.
- From the For drop-down menu, choose Money in or Money out.
- Under the In drop-down menu, pick the bank or credit card account.
- Set the rule conditions.
