Balances and Reconciling

My "QuickBooks" balance and my "Bank" balance are different by a substantial amount. It was suggested to me to reconcile in order to correct such a large difference. When I went to reconcile, the difference showed $0.00. I do not understand how that can be the case. Previously, I was encountering an issue with my invoices "throwing" my balances off by a lot, I never changed anything. Yet, now the reconciliation is equaled out.

Please, someone reach out and make this make sense to me!
