Join nowDoes anyone know how to just check certain checks and clear them without QB auto checking other transactions? Even if I undo all the checks, it still auto checks some of them and I am not sure how it picks them as it seems to be random. Also, how do you permanently delete transactions from the bank feeds? Right now, I am having to delete 2 years worth that are just redownloaded next time I do the next month.
Thanks,
Danielle
Hello Danielle,
The system will automatically mark a downloaded bank transaction if it matches an existing one within QuickBooks. You'll need to unmatch it manually. Doing this won't delete the downloaded bank transactions:
Meanwhile, you can select Ignore to completely delete a bank transaction from your Bank Feeds. Here's how to ignore multiple transactions at once:
After that, you can manage the bank transactions manually again.
You can always get back to me if you more questions about Bank Feeds in QuickBooks.
I think you are misunderstanding what I am saying. I do uncheck them, but as I scroll back to the top they recheck themselves. I can't figure out how or why as it's different ones each time I scroll down.
I think you are misunderstanding what I am saying. I do uncheck the ones that are check in the review section. However, as I scroll down or up it rechecks them. They never stay permanently unchecked as the system itself rechecks them. Why? I can't figure out which ones or what order either, because different ones are checked each time I scroll up or down.
Greetings, Danielle1776.
Allow me to step in for a moment and provide additional clarification regarding this matter.
After some research and testing here on my end, I wasn't able to get the same result you did. In situations like this, it'd be a good idea to Repair QuickBooks through the QuickBooks Maintenance Wizard.
Doing so will allow the program to refresh it's system and self-resolve any unusual behaviors. The steps below will guide you on how to do it:
Just a quick reminder, running the Repair process will reset the patch version of your QuickBooks. That said, make sure to update the program first before doing anything else. Also, if you have a payroll subscription, don't forget to download the latest tax table as well.
That should get you going in the right direction. Please keep in touch if you need more help with this, I'm determined to get this fixed for you.
