Can i import a CSV file from UPS into QB Online?

Hi userjim2,

.CSV file is the accepted file type in QuickBooks Online. Sure, you can import a CSV file from UPS into QuickBooks.

You just have to follow the formatting on the CSV files in Excel to get your transactions into QuickBooks.

For future reference, you can also visit our QuickBooks Articles hub to search for relevant topics. We have available resources that can guide you on whatever QuickBooks tasks you need to process.

Feel free to get back and post some more if you have additional questions. I'm always here to help.

Can i import a CSV file from UPS into QB Online?

Hi and thanks for getting back with me.  So, I'm trying to import a CSV file from UPS into QB online, is there a format template?  If I go to "Settings" > "Import". I see templates for invoice, chart of accounts , bank data, do I use one of these or is there one for "bills"?

I'm happy to see you here again, @userjim2.

Let me chime in and provide some details about importing CSV files in QuickBooks Online.

If you mean you'll want to import bills in QuickBooks, currently, this feature is available in Canada and the UK versions. If you’re in the US, there isn't a direct way of importing bills into QuickBooks.

In this case, you may consider searching for third-party applications that you can integrate with QuickBooks. This way, you can import bills seamlessly.

I recommend you to visit the QuickBooks Apps site and look for an app that meets your business needs. You can also do this inside your company. You just have to select the Apps menu on the left panel and then enter a keyword in the search field.

For more details, check out the Apps that work with QuickBooks article.

Otherwise, you can also check out the answer provided by Fiat Lux - ASIA.

Furthermore, for future reference, I've added this article to help you how to track bills and record the payments:  How to enter and pay bills.

If you have any questions with vendor transactions in QBO, please let me know by leaving a comment below. I’ll be right here to answer them. Stay safe and have a nice day.
