It's good to hear from your today, info-kdrphotos-c (KDRPhotography). Let me help share some information regarding the default view of the transactions in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
The option to set the default view of the transactions screen in QuickBooks Self-Employed is currently unavailable. As a workaround, you can manually toggle the transactions to Business and change it into Year to date.
I recommend editing, assigning, and categorizing your transactions. Doing so will help you ensure the accuracy of your financial records. Additionally, you can visit the following write-up regarding how Schedule C categories show up on your financial reports: Schedule C and expense categories in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Let me know if you have any other questions about QuickBooks Self-Employed transactions in the comment section below. I need to make sure you're all set or if you have other concerns in mind, please let me know. I'll make sure to get back to you as quickly as I can.

Hi, KDRPhotography.
Hope you're doing great. I wanted to see how everything is going about the transactions screen view you had yesterday. Was it resolved? Do you need any additional help or clarification? If you do, just let me know. I'd be happy to help you at anytime.
Looking forward to your reply. Have a pleasant day ahead!
I also would love the ability to set the default view. Please implement this feature.
Thank you for joining this thread, golauree.
I can see that many users want to be able to change the default view on the transactions screen. This feature is an excellent addition to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). I encourage submitting feedback about this feature directly to our product engineers for consideration in future updates.
Simply head to the Gear icon and select Intuit Account. Then, enter your product suggestions in the field box and click Feedback to submit.
I've also added a link that provides an overview of the activities you can perform in the program: QuickBooks Self-Employed guide. Furthermore, the following link contains a list of topics that will help you track your miles, and manage your taxes, forms, and bank transactions: Self-help articles.
If you have any other concerns or questions about QBSE, leave a comment below and include my name. I'll get back to you as soon as possible to assist you and make sure you're taken care of. Enjoy the rest of the day, golauree.
