Hello @Jennifer529,
In QuickBooks Online, you can enter a bill payment to close the bill for your credit card. This way, you can match the payment downloaded in the bank feeds. Let me walk you through the steps on how you can accomplish this.
From here, you can go ahead and match the recently created bill payment to the downloaded bank transaction. But I'd still recommend contacting your accountant for guidance in transferring your transaction since you used your personal account as the mode of payment.
If you haven't yet, you can find any bookkeeper near you through this link: Find an accountant or bookkeeper.
On top of that, I've also included this reference helpful with the resources needed while with your expenses and vendors: Enter expenses, pay bills, write checks, and manage suppliers in QuickBooks Online.
Don't hesitate to post again here if you have other questions or concerns with QuickBooks tasks and navigations. I'm always around happy to help. Take care and stay safe!
It seems after attempting the instructions below there is no open bill.
The initial cc purchase was a business expense for an associate. The associate paid us back into a personal checking account. We then had to transfer that money from the personal ck acct back to the business credit card as a bill pay. Now the feed shows payment and I do not know how to match it. When I click confirm, it asks which account was used. There are only two options. My two business checking accounts. I do not want to create a new acct using my personal. I tried to attached a screen shot but I keep receiving an error message.
