Glad to see you in the Community, nelson. I’ve got some information and solutions for you.


The Amazon integration with QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) is working as intended. We haven’t received any updates that concern the feature.


As long as the connection is complete, you'll see a few orders while the program is operating to pull more entries. Make sure you’ve linked the account you use to purchase items on Amazon so details will appear in QBSE. See this integration guide to learn more.


You can perform some troubleshooting steps if everything is completely set up and yet the program fails to import your orders. Please know that the online platform uses the browser’s cache to run faster. However, these can sometimes become corrupted, which affects QBSE functionalities.


To start, open your QBSE account in a private or incognito window for testing. Check out these shortcut keys below for quick navigation:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P


If you’re able to see your orders after logging in, get back to your regular browser and clear its cache. Doing this helps the program to run smoothly. You can also use other supported browsers as an alternative.

 

You might want to create and utilize rules to reduce the amount of time in managing and categorizing business transactions in the future. It speeds up your review process while ensuring events are matched.

Thank you for the quick reply. I actually missed the first bullet point that says 'no new transaction will be created' and realized I had to connect my credit card associated with Amazon. All seems to be well now.
