Capital One Credit Card wont feed

We spend about $45,000 a month on our Capital One Spark Card. I can not get it to feed over to QuickBooks so I have to manually enter like 200 transactions every month.

Why won't capital one feed over? Capital One won't let me download in .qbo either so I can not even import manually. We had American Express previously and it worked just fine.

Capital One Credit Card wont feed

Welcome to the Community forum, tiffany3. I'm here to lend a hand.

Upon connecting Capital One Credit Card, have you encountered an error message? If you've not seen the Synchronize button upon connection, this means that your bank doesn't support Direct Connect for QuickBooks.

As a workaround, you can import bank transactions to bring into QuickBooks. In your case, since your bank won't let you download the .qbo file, you can search for a converter online.

Once everything is set, you can import the file again to QuickBooks Desktop.

For future reference, you can check this article which you may find helpful: Fix Web Connect import errors.

Please keep in touch if you need more help. I'm always here to assist. Take care.

Capital One Credit Card wont feed

It is Capital One. I would be sure they connect to QB since it is one of the largest banks in the world.

This is also for credit card, not banking. I do not get an error message but when I go to add the bank instead of having me log in it brings up the screenshot I posted above.....

Can you check and make sure the Capital One Credit Card feed is working? Again, it is one of the largest in the world and would assume they connect to QB

Let me help you connect your bank account, @tiffany3.

First off, please make sure to update your QuickBooks to the latest release.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Downloads & Updates page.
  2. Select your country, product, and year version.
  3. Click Search.
  4. Click on the Get the latest updates link.
  5. When the download finishes, open the file to install the update. After the install, restart your computer.

You can check the list of Participating Financial Institution to verify if your bank supports Web Connect and/or Direct Connect. Capital One - Credit Cards only supports the web connect method. This is the reason why you're getting the prompt to download the file from your bank.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Banking.
  2. Select Bank Feeds and choose Participating Financial Institutions.
  3. Under the Financial Institution Directory, select your bank.
  4. Check the Supported Download Method.

You can refer to this article to manually download your bank data into the program: Web Connect.

Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'll be around to help.

I did the update and that did not work.

I went to Help in QB and there is no contact us, it only brings me to a searchable Q&A which does not help me.

Programs to convert a pdf to .qbo seem to only work with banks..or they are super expensive!
