Good day, @andy108.

Your QuickBooks bank balance is the total of all transactions that you've added or matched to QuickBooks. While your bank balance is your actual bank balance from the last bank feed update. Here are the lists of possible reasons:

  • Outstanding transactions.
  • New transactions for a connected account.
  • Duplicate transactions.
  • Edited or deleted transactions.
  • Card (liability) account.

To fix your QuickBooks Balance, you'll want to review your downloaded bank transactions and put them in the correct accounts. Here's how:

  1. Go to Banking, then select the Banking tab.
  2. Pick the CN Bank account.
  3. Select the For Review tab to start your review.
  4. Click each transaction that you'll have to Add or Match.

Refer to this article for more information: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

After categorizing your downloaded transactions, check your QuickBooks balance if it's already matched with your actual bank balance.

From there, you're now ready to reconcile your account. Check out this link for details: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know how it goes after trying the above recommendations as I want to ensure this is resolved for you. Take care and have a wonderful weekend ahead.
