Re: Dell Financial Services account not connecting

Hello and welcome to the Community, joescurto.

I'd be delighted to assist with your question about your Dell Financial Services account in QuickBooks Online.

Can you share with me additional details about what happens when you connect your account? Did you encounter any error when syncing? Any information you can add will help ensure a timely solution.

If you're receiving an error while trying to connect, I'm adding an article that I recommend:

I'll be on a lookout for your response. I'm one click away for any assistance you need, so please don't hesitate to post a response.

Re: Dell Financial Services account not connecting

The error is attached - basically it doesn't accept the login credentials because QuickBooks Online forces us to use an email address for the connection. On Dell's site, they require a username (i.e. jsmith123) instead of an email address (i.e. [email address removed]).

Re: Dell Financial Services account not connecting

I'm here to make sure this error gets fixed right away, nmorea.

When you connect an account into QBO and type the bank's name, you'll usually see more than one result. This is because some banks have multiple names on our list. You can learn more about it here: How to identify the correct bank.

This is probably why you're being asked to log in differently using an email. To ensure that you've selected the correct bank, you might have to repeat the same steps until you find the right one.

Here's how:

  1. Click Banking on the left panel, and then select the Banking sub-tab.
  2. Click the Add Account button in the upper right-hand corner of the Banking page.
  3. In the Search field, enter the bank's (Dell) URL.
  4. If you see multiple options, select each one to find the account that lets you log in with a username.
  5. Enter your login credentials and select Done.

I also got you this article for your reference: How to fix banking error 103.

Feel free to keep me updated with the results. I'll be right here if you need anything else.

Re: Dell Financial Services account not connecting

There is only 1 bank option. If I type just Dell in the search, 2 options appear. I’ve tried both. Still not working.

Still a problem. I’ve tried just typing in Dell in the search and there are only 2 options. Both still don’t work.
