Does anyone have any tips for importing Navy Federal bank transactions into Intuit?

I saved the transaction statement as a CSV file but when I upload it, I get this error: Darn. File upload failed. (Probably our fault.) Please give it another try. If you see this message again, you might need to contact us.

I'm here to resolve this error, thrivegg.

Let's run some steps so you can import the Navy Federal bank transactions.

To start with, make sure that the CSV table has only three columns. Then, remove the header row. From there, re-import the file.

If the same thing happens, we can perform some troubleshooting steps. There are times when a browser's cache data becomes full of frequently accessed websites or damaged. This causes an issue when importing your CSV file to QBSE. We can press the F5 key on your keyboard to refresh the page. Then, try signing in to your account using a private or incognito window. This mode doesn't use the existing cache data and helps us confirm browser-related issues. Here's how:

  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Safari browser: Command + Option + P

If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. The collection of data over time can create corruption; however, removing this should fix the issue. You can also use other supported, up-to-date browsers to rule out the possibility of a browser-related issue.

Once imported, you can edit, assign, and categorize your transactions. This helps you ensure the accuracy of your financial records. Additionally, you can visit the following write-up regarding how Schedule C categories show up on your financial reports: Schedule C and expense categories in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Let me know how these steps work on your end. I'm here to guide you more.
