Has anyone successfully connected their brex bank account to quickbooks self employed? I've been back and forth with their support for weeks with no resolution. My case even got closed even though nothing was resolved. I'd love any thoughts!

Once you connect your bank to QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) the system downloads 90-days to 24 months worth of historical banking transactions. After that, transactions will be download regularly (every 24 hours). You'll want to run a manual update to ensure your bank transactions are updated. Here's how:

1. Go to the Settings icon.
2. Choose Bank Account.
3. Click Refresh All. 

This will also restore the bank connection and will trigger updates to your bank transactions. However, if you're still unable to do a manual update, you can export the transactions from your bank and import them in QBSE.

Here is the error it’s been giving me for months. I’ve contacted both Brex and Quickbooks múltiplos times and Quickbooks said they were looking into it for weeks before they closed my ticket and didn’t respond with any update. If you already followed the steps shared by my colleague above and the issue persists, try signing into your QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) using a private browser (incognito). This will help us check if this is a browser-related issue.

Here's how:

• Press Ctrl + Shift + N (Google Chrome).
• Ctrl + Shift + P (Firefox).
• Control + Option + P (Safari).

Once logged in, try to connect your bank again to double-check.

If it's successful, return to your default browser and perform a clear cache to refresh the system. However, if the issue persists, try using other supported browsers.

I've never been able to do this, either. When trying to connect to Brex, a pop-up appears very briefly and disappears again, and I'm presented with the error

Thanks for joining in on this thread and for the details you've provided. When your bank is available on the list, you'll be able to connect it. Since you're getting an error message, I've checked our reports but didn't find any at the moment. 

What I can recommend is contacting our Customer Care Team. They have more tools available to investigate what's causing this behavior and work with our engineers to get the error fix. 

Here's how:

1. Click the Help icon located in the upper right-hand corner.
2. In the Help window, click the Contact Us button located at the bottom.
3. Enter your question and click Let's talk.
4. Choose either Start a chat or Call us.

If you have the new QuickBooks Assistant help update, you can follow these steps:

1. In your QuickBooks Online account, go to the Help > Assistant.
2. Type Talk to a human and proceed with I still need a human.
3. Click the Contact us link.
4. Select either Messaging or Callback.

Still Broken and yes I've tried everything stated above. Same error as above.

Once you connect your accounts to QuickBooks Self-Employed, your recent transactions download automatically. This lets you skip manual data entry and QuickBooks also categorizes them for you. However, there are sometimes unexpected behaviors that will happen like getting a specific error. That said, receiving an error 580 while connecting to your bank has been reported as an ongoing issue. Our Product engineers are now working to fix this as soon as possible.

I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Self Employed Team, so they can add you to our notification list. This will help our engineers determine the number of affected users. For now, give us a call to add your company details to one of the affected users. This way, you'll receive updates as soon as the issue is resolved. The steps below will guide on how to contact them:

1. Log in to your QBSE account in a browser.
2. Go to the Help icon.
3. Click Contact us.
4. Enter a brief description of your concern. You can enter the error message you received.
5. Click Continue. Then, choose Get a call back.

Same here. It’s about a year since this post and I guess QBSE team isn’t prioritizing this since Brex integration seems to still be missing. I’ve put in a request to connect Brex but I doubt that will go anywhere. It’s too bad since I enjoy using both but now am stuck having to manually sync via CSV. Or maybe I need to find a new banking service that works with QBSE?
