Join nowHi there, @majonkata.
Let me route you to the right support team that handles this kind of issue.
Since the data are coming from your third-party application, they are the one who's responsible for the data that are being imported in QuickBooks Online (QBO). If the integration doesn't include tax data when importing to QBO, I suggest contacting their customer support. This way, their App developer can make a change and an update on the connection between the application and QuickBooks.
As always, you can visit our QuickBooks Community help website if you need tips and related articles in the future.
Please touch base with me here for all of your QuickBooks needs, I'm always happy to help. Have a good one.
Hi, I'm writing my own app, because I couldn't find anything that will suit our needs. This also means I have full control of what's being sent, etc.
Hello dear, majonkata. We're glad to have you back.
The best thing we can do is contact API's support engineers since tax lines were added using API. They can help you import the tax data to your book. They can provide you further information and figure things out why this is happening.
Stay in touch if you have follow-up questions with QuickBooks. The Community is always here for you! Take care!
Hi, SarahannC, thanks! Where can I contact them from?

You'll need to reach out to the third-party app provider's team to hasten the solution of the issue. They can change and update on the connection between the application and QuickBooks.
Also, with regards to the raised ticket from our developers. We may still need to wait for the response as the Developer Team have their own specialist that looks for specific issues with APIs.
You can always get back to me if you have questions or other concerns by leaving a comment below. Take care.
Hi Joesem, it's not a 3rd party app. I'm creating the app and the API fails for some reason and I need to talk with the devs.
Good to have you back, majonkata.
You may want to log back in to Intuit Developer website to check out for an update from their support. They are responsible in handling this type of issue.
