How do I make my self-employment account go to inactive? There is no way for me to do it myself. I don't need it as I have QBO. Thank you.

Hi there, @jodipgh.

 

I'm here to help you cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription.

 

  1. Go to the Gear ⚙ icon and then select Billing Info.
  2. Click Cancel now.
  3. Type in feedback when prompted.
  4. Select Cancel subscription.

 

If you're using a mobile subscription, you can cancel it via the app store in a few easy steps. 

 

Cancel on iOS (iPhone or iPad)

  1. Go to Settings and select iTunes & App Store.
  2. Tap your Apple ID, then select View Apple ID.
  3. Sign in with your Apple ID.
  4. Tap Subscriptions.
  5. Tap QuickBooks Self-Employed, then Cancel Subscription.

I have 2 paid subscription accounts for my two businesses. However, there is third that shows my personal name is linked to a self-employed product. I have never used that and has no active subscription. That is the one I want to delete. I am given no option to do so. When I log in to the one with my personal name, I get the auto drop down asking me to subscribe. I want to delete the "third" account with my personal name.

I'd suggest reaching out to our customer care support. This way, an agent can check your accounts and cancel the third subscription. Just follow CharleneMae_F's steps on how you can get in touch with us.

 

I'll add the reference on how to resubscribe to QuickBooks Self-Employed just in case you'll be using and reactivating the account.
