Hi there, @swgmys1.

I want to make sure you're able to see the 2021 data in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).

You have two options to accomplish this either set the date to 2021 or subscribe to a new QBSE account. But we're unable to set this as default.

Here's the sample screenshots for your reference:

Here's how to to get a new account:

  1. Go to this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/self-employed/
  2. Click Buy Now to get a discount.
  3. Enter personal and billing information.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions.

After that, you can cancel the old account to avoid duplicate charges.

Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon on the right side.
  2. Choose Billing info under About you
  3. Hit Cancel Subscription

You'll receive an email confirming your cancellation process. Also, we'll keep your data for one year after. For more details, check out this article: Cancel your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription

I've also added some pages that help you maintain your company data, transactions, taxes, forms, and other related matters.

Let me know if you have additional questions. I'm here to help you further. Keep safe!
