Re: How do I stop having my bank account connect to quickbooks. I want to do it myself

We’ll support your choice, jennifersouthard.

You can disconnect your bank account to stop it from sending transactions to your QuickBooks. After that, you can add your transactions on your own. You can either add them one by one in QuickBooks. Or, you can download them from your bank account and upload them to QuickBooks.

To disconnect your account:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and choose Chart of Accounts.
  2. Click the down arrow beside View register on the account that you want to disconnect.
  3. Choose Edit.
  4. Place a checkmark in the Disconnect this account on save checkbox.
  5. Hit Save and Close.
