Join nowIf I try to match the deposit I am only given deposits. I've issued a refund receipt for the refund, but it doesn't show up in the match list. I am very frustrated. I've called support several times for this issue and it just seems that my AR gets screwed up each time. Example: Customer A pays $500, Customer B pays $2,000, and I have issued a refund (or reversed a transaction) in QuickBooks Payments for $400. The bank feed shows a deposit for $2,100. When I click on match I only get the two deposits, but not the refund. How do I make this work?
I'm here to ensure you're able to match the bank feed deposit and refund amounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO), @jenwaltzer.
Let's ensure that the refund receipt is associated with the bank account selected. This way, it will show on the Match Transaction screen. You can check the transactions to verify the bank and make an update if needed.
Also, you can categorize your bank transactions to prevent duplicates.: Assign, categorize, edit, and add banking transactions.

I'm afraid this isn't working. The refund receipt DOES NOT show on the Match Transaction page - I wouldn't have a problem if it did. In the refund receipt I have it marked as Payment method: QuickBooks Payments - Credit Card, and Refund From: Checking account. (We only have one bank account, and one credit card, so there is no issue with having the wrong account here. Changing the payment method doesn't make a difference.) Payment date range for the matching transactions is correct. This has been a source of continual frustration for me. Any other suggestions?
Thank you for the clarification, jenwaltzer.
I suggest contacting our QuickBooks support. They'll be able to check your account further.
