Hello, I am trying to close my QB Cash account which was opened by mistake. As a result, all payments from customers were being deposited to QB Cash account instead of my primary checking account. I was able to transfer those funds out of QB Cash and into my checking by following the steps below. Now how do I shut down QB Cash account? Also, there's a -$0.86 balance remaining in the account. I also want to close my account. I thought this would help me get paid quicker. THIS IS A SCAM! What business could possibly use this? My money has been inaccessible while I've been waiting for my bank to be verified. (The same bank I've been depositing to with QuickBooks for years.)
I can only transfer in $5,000 increments. I transferred yesterday but still don't see it in my bank account. Another 3-5 days? REALLY??? Now it says I've reached my max for the week at $50,000. So another week to get the other $50,000. REALLY???
I have reached out to chat and after spending an hour with them, they could do nothing. This was a major mistake and I am loosing business 2 weeks in a row now for this. How does this help anyone? These spending limits are ridiculous.

Please help! I have been trying to get my account closed for a few weeks now. I have called. They said they closed the account after I made a final transfer. They did not close the account. Then I received $1.95 in interest. I transferred that...still not closed. I've tried calling half a dozen times. Was dropped 5 times and then told the account would be closed. IT IS STILL NOT CLOSED. Quickbooks, please contact me directly at [email address removed] and/or close this account! Thank you!

Let me help ensure you're able to close your QuickBooks Cash account. You need to close your account before the end of your statement cycle. Doing this will prevent earning any interest.
Make sure to zero out the balance and if you move out the money, it takes 2 - 5 business days to process the transfer.
I suggest contacting our Payments Team so they can look it up for you. I want to make sure this is taken care of, but we must protect sensitive data in this public forum.

I've been stuck with this account as well because it sold itself daily on the app as a "quicker process" to receive my money. Instead it's a "bank account" I didn't want and is just an inconvenient middle man that takes longer to get to my real account. And you make it near impossible to get rid of. I was disconnected several times and spent hours to be told I could close until my first bank transfer and needing the card in hand which hadn't arrived. If I want to cancel it, you should honor that. I'm beyond frustrated and ready to use any other service at this point
