How to deposit money to business as owner

Owner's equity represents the owner's investment in the business minus the owner's draws or withdrawals from the business plus the net income (or minus the net loss) since the business began.

You can record a bank deposit and choose the Owner's Equity account. You can follow the steps.

1. Select + New.
2. Select Bank Deposit.
3. Enter the necessary information under the Add funds to this deposit section.
4. From the Account drop-down▼menu, choose the Owner's Equity.
5. Click Save and close.

For future reference, you'll want to categorize and match your bank transactions once downloaded in QuickBooks Online.
