How to dislike a reply or mark unacceptable?

Solutions have no option except to "CHEER" or mark as solution.  Need other options when response is unacceptable, or doesn't work.  No wonder you show so many positive remarks when you don't allow negative responses.

Re: How to dislike a reply or mark unacceptable?

Hello, Derolf.

Thanks for posting your concern here in the Community.

I'll do my part and pass your feedback along to the Development Team. Suggestions like this are taken into consideration when looking at ways to improve products and support. I'll let them know you'd like to have something similar to a "thumbs down" option if posted steps don't work for you or the response is unacceptable.

You can keep up with product updates and feature releases by viewing the QuickBooks Blog here: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/blog/.

The Community always has you back if you ever have any additional questions in the future. I'll be here to help.

It seems to me the "QuickBooks Team" answers here are generated by robots, and the algorithms by the human programmers who designed them are weak.  So they are all long-winded blather, mostly off-topic, answering questions not asked, not understanding, or outright wrong.  Complaining is futile

Re: How to dislike a reply or mark unacceptable?

Hey there, Malcolm Ziman.

I appreciate your thoughts. I can assure you I'm 100% not a robot. (I passed the test when I logged into my QuickBooks account ;) ). My job is to provide customers with articles and other resources to help get their work done in the most efficient way.

As a member of the QuickBooks Team, I'm provided with specific tools to relay information to the correct channels. For the original poster in this situation specifically, I was able to send a message directly to the team responsible for updating QuickBooks Products and the Community page. As I mentioned above, customer feedback is always reviewed when making changes to QB systems.

@Derolf

There's no option for that here anymore: You might hurt someone's feelings.

Amazingly, while they're a lot of copy/pasting going on, there are actual real people doing this.  Their failed efforts reveal their lack of competence - and that of support's management.

I still think they're robots. That have been programmed to deny it.

@Derolf

It is today's society, everyone gets an attaboy, no matter how wrong they are, anything else would cause irreparable emotional harm
