In most cases, too much cache on your browser causes unusual behavior while working with QuickBooks. To isolate the issue, I recommend opening QuickBooks through a private window and record an expense from there. This browser prevents any virus infections that can cause unexpected behavior when using QuickBooks.
To save you time, use either of these keyboard shortcuts:
If the categories work fine, I suggest going back to your regular browser and clear its cache to start fresh.
You may also use other supported browsers to narrow down the result.
Moreover, you can also check for your browser's pop-up blockers. Once it's blocked, you won't be able, or nothing happens when clicking a button or a link. You can open this article for the steps: Why doesn't anything happen when I select a button or link?.

Let me be more specific as I could have done a better job initially.
I actually cannot link my bank. I am trying to, I select landmark credit, I type in my info, I can see my landmark account and how much is it it, and then I can't select the actual account in order to be able to link it with QB. The button that surrounds my entire account literally cannot be clicked.
Allow me to join in this thread and help you connect Landmark credit to QuickBooks, yogiluber.
There are multiple bank's names for Landmark accounts listed on the Banking page. However, you need to use the one that exactly appears on your bank's website.

If you're unable to find Landmark credit, you can send a request to support your FI. Let me show you how:
For now, you can download transactions using a CSV file from your bank, then manually import them to QuickBooks.
I'm adding this link for additional insights: Find your bank or credit card account when you connect to online banking.
Let me know how this goes by commenting below. I'll be around to help you with QuickBooks.
If your bank supports SlickConnect, utilize the trial period of it to isolate the issue. https://www.moneythumb.com/?ref=110
