I entered wrong reconcilliation date and need to change it. I put 12/31/2019 instead of 11/30/2019. How can I change this?

Let me help you update the ending date of your reconciliation, @leashinclakecoun

If you haven't closed your reconciliation yet, you can go to that bank or credit card account to edit it. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Accounting page, then Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find your bank or credit card account.
  3. Under ACTION column, click View register.
  4. Select the Reconcile button and click Edit info.
  5. Hit the Save button to confirm the changes made.

However, if the reconciliation is already closed and completed, then you’ll need to contact your Accountant to undo the reconciled period.

I've attached an article you can read for the detailed steps and key information if you'll proceed to un-reconcile your account: How to Un-reconcile a Transaction or Undo a Reconciliation?.

Stay in touch if you have questions about reconciliation or anything you want me to help with. I’m always glad to help in any way I can.

I did the same thing. I put in 5-13-19 instead of 5-31-19. Click on  the Edit button then change the date, making sure that your balance is correct. In my case I changed it from  5-13-19 to 5-31-19. Fixed it!
