Yes, you can file @onlinechetan.

 

You'll have to track your status in your QBSE account to include your spouse's information. When you file as Married Filing Jointly, submit only one tax return.

 

Let me guide you through how.

 

  1. Go to Gear, then Tax profile.
  2. Under Tax profile, enter your Spouse's first name, last name, annual W2 income, and federal withholding.
  3. Scroll down and proceed with the Deduction and other information necessary.
  4. Click Save. See attached screenshots below.

Once you're done, export your file to TurboTax and file your tax return. This return contains both your income and expense information.

I’m happy to guide you in the right direction to filing your taxes through QuickBooks Self-Employed and TurboTax. 

 

For our bundle customers:

 

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. Go to the Tax Checklist to complete your tasks.
  3. Select Let's wrap things up, then Review the final tax summary.
  4. Choose to Send my info to TurboTax, then you'll be prompted to double-check your TurboTax sign-in info.
  5. Click It's OK to send my info. This will redirect you to the TurboTax page.
  6. On the TurboTax page, select Continue to validate your Self-Employed info.

Important: TurboTax will recognize that it's been included in your monthly QuickBooks subscription when you send your info to TurboTax. If you don't automatically send your info to TurboTax, you'll be prompted to pay your filing fees.
