I'm no longer able to connect my citibusiness account to quickbooks, it doesn't recognize the bank

There are a number of reasons this can happen, @thecometfund.

You may have an issue finding or connecting to your bank if:

  • Your bank doesn't connect to all types of accounts. For example, business accounts vs personal accounts.
  • Your bank has multiple names on our list. Let's make you've selected the correct listing by searching the banking sign in URL.

Though, we can try the other versions of your bank name to connect the bank in QBO. Here's how:

  1. Click Banking.
  2. On the Banking page, select Add Account.
  3. Search for your financial institution. Let's manually enter the bank's URL or website and select it from the list.
  4. Click the link for your bank's website.
  5. Let's make sure you can access your account through this site by verifying that you can see your account summary, account history, and account details without any errors.
  6. If you access the account successfully, sign out of the financial institution's website and continue to add the account in QBO.

You can also download transactions from your bank's website and upload them to QBO.
