Hi there, @lisavasq.

Before contacting our Payroll Support, let's run the Previous Reconciliation report to check the status of the reconciled payroll transactions changed. This occur when a future date is entered in the Statement Date field of the Begin Reconciliation window. Let's make sure the date does not occur in the future.

Here's how to check:

  1. On the top menu, select Reports.
  2. On the drop-down, select Banking and then click Previous Reconciliation.
  3. Select the correct Account and the Statement Ending Date.
  4. Choose the Type of Report.
  5. Select Transactions cleared plus any changes made to those transactions.
  6. Click Display

After that, compare this report to past statements from your financial institution. If the date does not match, you can undo the previous reconciliation and then reconcile the transactions again using the correct date.

Here's how:

  1. From the Banking menu, click Reconcile.
  2. In the Begin Reconciliation window, select the appropriate account then click Undo Last Reconciliation.
  3. A message to backup the company file before undoing a previous reconciliation is displayed. If you have already created a backup, click Continue.
  4. Click Ok when the message Undo Previous Reconciliation has completed displays. Note that the last reconciled on date has reverted to the previous date.
  5. Reconcile the transactions again.

If they show as reconciled, your data file may be damaged or corrupted. To fix this, you can verify and rebuild your QuickBooks Desktop data to fix it.

If you'd still prefer to contact our QuickBooks Desktop Payroll Support Team, you can request for a callback and work while you wait. You also have the option to start a chat session. We are open Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM and Saturday 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM Pacific Time.

Thank you for joining us here. Fill me in if you need help with anything else. Have a lovely weekend.
