"I want to use quickbooks self employed starting 1/1/2021. You give free each year. But by April 15, tax time, months have gone. I’m not able to catch up with backlog. I try several years but there is always too much data to sift."

Hi there, ocharlyiv.

We want to make assured you get the most out of your data before your subscription ends. After April 30th, you won't be able to access or edit your QuickBooks Self-Employed data.

If you want to use your QuickBooks Self-Employed tax info for the current tax year, follow these steps to export your data to TurboTax Self-Employed before April 30th. You can also download the tax report. Here's how:

  1. Sign in to QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. Go to the Reports menu.
  3. Find the Tax summary and Tax details reports.
  4. Select tax years you want reports for. Then select Download

To learn more about what will happen before QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription end, you may read on this article: What to do before your QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription from TurboTax Self-Employed expires

I really appreciate your response!
However, you miss the point of my question.
i receive Quicken Self Employed each April, after submitting my taxes.
By April 3 months of data are gone by & I can’t catch-up.
How can I get my free Quicken Self Employed for use, starting on January 1st.
