Is there a problem connecting to QuickBooks from client apps. I am trying to connect to QuickBooks from my web app and is showing there is a connection error.

What specific error are you getting? If you're referring to the QuickBooks Online (QBO) Windows application, we currently haven't received any reported issues. Let's try resetting the app to its default state to help fix possible connection errors.

 

Here's how:

  1. Open QBO app.
  2. Go to Help.
  3. Choose Reset App Data.

Then, try logging back in and access the client's account.

 

If you get the same results, let's try uninstalling and reinstalling the app to resolve common data issues. You can check out this article to install the QBO Windows app: Download QBO app.

So, basically we are trying to put our application in to QuickBooks app store. We are working on the disconnect feature where if the user clicks on the disconnect button QB will revoke access and refresh tokens. It is not connecting to QB again.

This problem is still happening when trying to make a payment to a merchant using their quickbooks link. When will the connection error be fixed?  There are several complaints on the website dating from mid July.
