Good to have you here, thomasvillepain.

I want to make sure you'll be able to download new information. So let's get your bank account reconnected.

To reactivate an account from the chart of accounts, first, you need to show all of the inactive accounts. After that, inactive accounts will appear with a Make Active link in the Action column to the right.

Here is a breakdown of the steps:

  1. Access the Chart of Accounts * This link will open the chart of accounts for any QBO company that you currently have open in this browser.
  2. Select the blue gear on the far right, next to the print icon.
  3. Select Include Inactive
  4. Locate the account you want to reactivate
  5. Select the Make Active link for that account in the Action column on the far right.

To re-connect the bank account:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top.
  2. From Your Company, select Chart of Accounts.
  3. Find the checking account in the Filter by the name search box.
  4. In the ACTION column, select the View register drop-down.
  5. Select Connect bank.
  6. Follow the prompt and complete the process for connecting your bank account.
