My BizPayPal Acct shows in the register- it updates fine. BUT, it does not show up in the banking list in my Dashboard OR the Banking & CC (dashboard). Why?

My BizPayPal Acct shows in the register- it updates fine. BUT, it does not show up in the banking list in my Dashboard OR the Banking & CC (dashboard). Why?

A browser-related issue might be causing the list and amounts not syncing, Royd47.

 

Stored cache files within the browser causes frequently visited sites perform unusual behavior. Let's verify this by logging into a private browser. Here's how to open one using some keyboard shortcuts:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Internet Explorer: Ctrl Shift P
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

If everything works fine, we can switch back to the regular browser to clear its cache to refresh QuickBooks. We can also use other supported browsers such as Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox since they have different cache folders.

After all this time, I just figured it out.  Thank you for your answer as it clarifies my hunch.  I wondered if it had to do with clearing the cache on the standalone desktop app. I kept getting stuck when I tried to set up the connection in the Banking tab. It would just hang at the point where it says something like "waiting to connect" or something like that. After several tries of waiting 10 minutes, I'd cancel the process.   

 

Well, instead of clearing the cache on the desktop app, I just chose to open QBO in Firefox and was able to go through the entire process of connecting to Paypal and linking it to my existing account in my register.  Yay! After updating it several times, I am to see the account and its transactions in the Banking screen. Thank you so much for your time!

Thanks for coming back and updating us about your success, @Royd47. I'm glad that you've finally seen your Paypal and its transactions in the banking screen.
