I haven't received reports similar to this issue Usually, this sort of behavior is often the result of browser hang-ups which can be quickly resolved by clearing the browser cache. However, I recommend accessing your account in a Private browsing window first to verify if this is caused by the system or your browser.
Here are the keyboard shortcuts that will help you accomplish this in all supported browsers:
Check to see if your reconciliations are back. If they are, then your main browser may have too much historical data from previously visited websites which slows down internal processes and causes this kind of behavior.

I'm having the same problem. I have three accounts. I reconciled my 3 accounts on 3/8/19. When I open reconcile in one of them it says last reconciled on 12/31/18. The other two accounts show my last reconciliation on 3/8/19. Clearing my browser history did not resolve the issue. Any suggestions?

Here's the possible reason your reconciled transactions are missing from your reconciliation reports.
With QuickBooks, you have the ability to verify who made changes on your account by viewing the Audit Log. Here’s how to check:
Once you have reviewed the audit log, if the transactions were deleted, there would be a need to re-enter those transactions manually or reconcile it again.
That should do it! This will enable you to fix any discrepancy when running the reconciliation report.
I use QuickBooks Desktop Pro 2017. There is no gear icon. How do I view reconciliation events with this version?

This report shows all activities done on the company file with the name of the user who performed it. You can view the changes made on the bank reconciliation by following the steps below.

Once done, you should see if someone changed the status of the reconciled transactions. If so, redo the reconciliation.

Thanks for the reply. I ran the Audit Trail report as you suggested. can't see anything that says someone changed the status of a reconciled transaction. It just shows every transaction I've
entered during the requested date range. Also, I don't see a filter in
this audit trail report for reconciled transactions. So, according to this
report and best I can tell there were no changes to my reconciliations. I have printed reports
showing I reconciled In Jan, Feb and March. I'm afraid to redo my

It’s possible that the one you restored is a backup copy of the company file before the reconciliation happen. This could be the reason why it’s showing a different last reconciled date.

Confirmed I'm using the most recent company file. I have 3 accounts. Two of my accounts show my most recent reconciliation date. One does not show my most recent reconciliation date although I have printed reports that show it has been reconciled as recent as March 8. Is it safe to just go back and reconcile this account again starting in Jan? The one I'm having problems with is my main business account. I need to get this figured out soon...I'm beginning to get really nervous about this!!!

Usually, transactions get unreconciled only if there's a user that undo the reconciliation on your company file. Since you have a copy of the reports from the specific date that you've reconciled, I recommend doing it again.

If you have missing information on your company file, it's possible that you're opening a wrong file or restored an outdated back up. To get past this, you can do a global search on your computer to get the most recent *.qbw (company file extension) or *.qbb (back up extension) files. Let me guide you through the steps:

i have lost 3 months of bank reconciliations. in the past i have lost check payments as well, even tho i have a hard copy back up of these things being completed. how can i fix this? i am the only one who uses qb desktop in my business. i discover this missing issues at random, and have lots of new data entered after them. is there a way to merge back ups if i can find an older version without things being deleted?
i only have one company and i am the only one who uses qb desktop. i enter data as business needs require. 3 months of reconciliations have disappeared. i have to re do oct, nov, dec of 2018 even tho i have these done and printed out in my folder. i don't know when these disappeared, but i have entered a significant amount of data since then. can i merge back ups?

Me too! 3 months of reconcilliation gone. Looks like MANY are having this problem all at the same time. Can't blame the accountant. Looks like a QB update issue. What's the plan????

Checking you Previous Reconciliation report allows you to know if you've reconciled for those months. And your Audit Trail shows if someone did undo your reconciliation.

I also just updated my Quickbooks Desktop and found afterward that my reconciliations were eliminated back to 1/31/19 (7 months).

I just found that this happened to me also. Several credit card accounts no longer reconciled back to January 2019. Desktop Pro 2017. This stinks.

I have a few simple steps to help resolve the issue. Let’s run the Verify and Rebuild Data Utilities.
Verifying the data will check any damaged transactions or lists in your company file, and rebuilding it will resolve any problems detected in your account. Here’s how:
