Hi there!

I tried to link my account from regions bank, but I couldn't. I always sign in using onepass.regions.com, instead of regions.com, but in quickbooks I only have regions.com as an option, I tried to login using my information and I can't. Am I the only one with the same issue?

Thank you for dropping by, Barbara Collier.

It's good to take advantage of the online banking features in QuickBooks Online. This will make it easier to track all your business transactions.

However, there are times a financial institution will have multiple bank names or they might have different types of accounts  but choose to only release one website for connection to QuickBooks Online. I suggest contacting your bank to help you set up and link you account to QuickBooks Online.

In the meantime, you can manually upload your bank transactions to QuickBooks. You can follow your bank's instructions to download a CSV file of your transactions to your computer then follow the steps below to proceed:

  1. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu. Then choose the Banking tab.
  2. Select Upload transactions.
  3. Click on Browse and then select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then hit Next.
  4. Choose the account you want to upload the transactions in the QuickBooks account ▼  dropdown. Then select Next.
  5. Follow the steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then click Next.
  6. Select the transactions you would like to import.
  7. Click Next and then Yes.
  8. Once done, select Let's go.

If you encounter an error, don't worry. You can use this article to fix them while uploading your transactions: Fix bank upload errors in QuickBooks Online.

Once you've successfully uploaded those transactions, you can check out this link to learn how to manage those entries: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you still have questions or clarifications about banking. I'll keep an eye on your response. Have a good one.
