Thanks for taking the time posting your concern here in the Community. Let me share an update about connecting PNC Bank with QuickBooks Online (QBO). 


I've checked our investigation list, and we have an on-going issue where some customer aren't able their PNC Bank with QBO. Our engineers are diligently working with the affected institutions to get this fixed as soon as possible.


While we're working on resolving this issue, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Support Team to add your account to the list of affected users. This way, you'll be notified of any updates on the progress on the investigation via email. 


Here's how to contact our customer support:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Select Help (?) at the top right.
  3. Select Contact Us to connect with a live support agent.

I haven't been able to connect to my PNC accounts for over a week.  The error says it is being worked on and I will be notified when fixed.  Where does this stand?  This is causing a major problem for our company that only gets worse everyday that goes by without it being fixed.

I can see how it affects your business when you're unable to connect your PNC accounts for over a week. Based on the error you described, it seems that you've already contacted our support team by performing the steps outlined by my peer, JanyRose, above. Calling us is a way of being added to our notification list. There isn't a current timeline as to when the investigation will be fixed, but that will automatically notify you once updates are available.


If you haven't contacted our support team, let's perform some steps so you can download your PNC bank transactions into the program. 

First, you'll have to manually update your account. This helps refresh the connection between PNC and QBO. This also fixes any banking error. Let me guide you how. 

  1. Go to Banking from the left menu. 
  2. Select Update.
  3. Enter your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) credentials.
  4. Click Continue update.


Second, you can sign in to your bank's website to check if there are alerts that need your attention. Third, you can update your bank info in the program if you make any changes on your bank’s website. For detailed steps, go through this article: What To Do If Bank Transactions Won't Download
