I am trying to reconcile 2018 and have come across a discrepancy I can't seem to fix. This discrepancy is an issue with the beginning balance for 2018, which is off by $295. It is showing me on the Reconciliation Discrepancy Report page that it is due to a deleted transaction of $380 that occurred on 02/10/2018 after the reconciliation for 2017 was completed on 02/07/2018. Essentially it is telling me that it is a Deleted Transaction After Reconciliation.
I've followed the support tips that the software ran me through to try to recreate the transaction, but the transaction does not even show up in the Register/Account History for me to be able to "Re-Reconcile" that transaction.
I am currently at a loss for what to do, any and all help is very much appreciated.
Thank you!
Hi TRG86,
I'd like to thank you as well for posting your reconciliation question here. I'll be glad to help you fix it.
It's possible that the transaction was saved to a different register. You can find it using the Advanced search option. To do it, you can click the magnifying glass icon in the upper right hand corner, and click on Advanced Search. Use the amount information to find the transaction. When you find it, edit the transaction and change the bank account, then re-reconcile it.
That's it. If you have other questions on reconciliation, feel free to come back here.
Thank you for your reply!
I've tried your suggestion and did not have any success. The search results returned no transactions.

If it's deleted then it's not in the register.
You can find it in the Audit Log
Thanks again for your replies!
I searched the Audit Log and that deleted transaction is there, but I can't do anything with it.
I think I have resolved the issue. What I went ahead and did was go back to the Reconciliation Page and I typed what the ending balance was from the 12/31/2017 statement. On the next page it had a $0.00 difference and it already pulled and re-reconciled the three transactions that totaled the $295 discrepancy from 11/13/2017 that were un-reconciled in 02/2018 when they were deleted. Now the beginning balance is correct and it looks like I can go ahead and reconcile 2018 as normal.

What was the date of the Reconciliation? Also 12/31/2017

There is no undo of deleted transactions. You have to recreate it, using the Audit Log to get the details
