Thanks for reaching out to the Community for your account's concern, @nomanw-seattle-g.
I'd like to ensure that we're on the same page so I can give you the right of information. I want to ask if you're trying to switch over to a non-profit version of QuickBooks Online, or do you have an existing account already? Any further details about this concern are much appreciated.
On the other hand, if you wanted to switch over to a non-profit account, you'll need to subscribe to QuickBooks Online since QBSE doesn't have this option.
QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) is designed for freelancers or self-employed individuals, while QuickBooks Online (QBO) is for small business owners. This means that there isn't an integrated way to switch a QBSE account to QBO or vice versa.
You can look for a non-profit version of QuickBooks from this site depending on your organizations' needs: Non-profit accounting software solution.
I'm also adding here a reference that you can scan through regarding what will happen to your data after switching over to QBO: Learn how to move your QuickBooks Self-Employed data to QuickBooks Online.
However, if you already have an existing QBO account, you can log in to your QBSE account using the same credentials.
Please get back to me if you're referring to something else. I'll make sure you're all set. Have a good one!

Contact TechSoup and you may purchase QBO with a special price for Non Profit if you are eligible. Otherwise you have to purchase with the regular rate.
