Let's perform some troubleshooting steps for you to sort out the date when reconciling a bank account, pixidoc.
There are times when a browser's cache data becomes full of frequently-accessed page or it is damaged. When this happens, pages like in the Reconcile columns don't load properly. Also, only the Date column is the only column that you can't edit to hide or show on that page. Just refer to the screenshot below:
To better isolate if this is a browser issue or not, let's access QuickBooks Online (QBO) using a private or incognito window.
Here's how you can access private browser:
Then go back to the Reconcile page to see if the Date column appears. You can also tick the Filter icon and go to the Date field. Then, choose the period of the transaction.
For more details about reconciling your bank account, refer to this article: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.
If it works, we can clear your browser's cache to delete those temporarily stored files and free some space on your browser's data. You can also do this task on other supported, up-to-date browsers like Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox.
If the same thing happens, try clearing Intuit-specific cookies to refresh website preferences on your program. Just go to Step 2: Clear Intuit-specific cookies from your browser section in this article: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.
I've got a link here where you can find articles about managing your bank transactions: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/learn-support/en-us/banking/07?product=QuickBooks%20Online.

Thanks, clearing the cache worked.
I have a similar problem, my reconcile screen is missing the Cleared Date which I use all the time in my other bank account where it does show up. When I try to edit the columns that show up, that column is not even on the list. Can someone please help? I've tried other browsers and they do not work either. I attached a print screen as a visual.
Thanks for the screenshot, @KarenM-CPA.
You'll want to ensure the bank account your trying to reconcile is displayed in your Banking Dashboard. This way, you'll be able to view the Cleared Date column in the Reconciliation page.
Let me show you how to do it in your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account:
