Trying to link my bank account…It snot one that is listed and I requested a few days ago…What do I need to do?

I'll help you link your bank account in QuickBooks Online (QBO), airbug72@yahoo.c.

Since your account is not yet supported, what we can do is manually import your bank transactions in QBO. I'll show you how.

  1. Sign in to your Bank website and follow the instructions to download your transaction as QBO, .CSV, or .QFX file (maximum file size 350KB).
  2. Go to the Banking or Transactions menu in QBO.
  3. Select Upload transactions.
  4. Click the Drag and drop or select files box and select the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Continue.
  5. From the QuickBooks account drop-down, select Add New to create a new bank account. Then click Continue.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks, then select Continue
  7. Select the transactions you would like to import and click Continue
  8. Click Yes to import the transaction and click Done

You can also check out this link for more details about the process: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Once done, you might want to utilize this link on how to categorize your transaction and ensure to put them in the correct account: Categorize and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online

You can count on me whenever you need more help with your bank transactions and QBO. Take care and have a great weekend ahead!

Utilize MT Online as a workaround. It is designed to import into any bank or credit card in QuickBooks Online, so there is no specific setting needed.
