Undo a reconciliation

I believe, that the option to undo a reconciliation by batch is only exclusive through an accountant user. If you have an accountant user listed in your QB Online company, you can provide them this link to undo a reconciliation:  https://community.intuit.com/articles/1769993-undo-a-reconciliation

Allow me to chime in for a moment and help you undo your reconciliation.

@gioreq1 is correct. In addition, you'll have to consider these two factors before you can undo your reconciliation.

First, if you're not an accountant, you can undo your reconciliation by manually going through each transaction. Here's how:

1. Go to Accounting.
2. Select Chart of Accounts.
3. Find your bank or credit card account.
4. Under the ACTION column, click View register.
5. Click your transaction under the Check column until its blank.
6. Select Save.

Lastly, you can contact your accountant. He/she has a tool to undo entire reconciliation in one go.
