We did so, but the banking data from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019 is not being updated automatically. Is there any other way?

When you connect your account in QuickBooks Online, most of the banks automatically download the last 90 days of transactions, and others go back as far as 24 months. The range of data that will import into the system will depend on your financial institution.
The only workaround available at the moment is by manually uploading transactions through WebConnect. As we assess this, I suggest you visit our QuickBooks Blog to stay updated with all the changes that are being made.

As additional option, if you have any data in CSV format, utilize this 3rd party tool to import them in bulk
