Does this only happen when you categorize a credit card transaction? Or does it happen to all of the downloaded transactions?
Let's try to do basic troubleshooting to check if it's a browser-related issue. Start with using a private window. Log back in to your account and try to categorize a transaction. If you're able to do it without the error, go back to the regular browser and clear cache. You may also use a different supported browser.
If the error persists, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Self-Employed support. They can check your account to see what's causing the problem. Here's how:
