Why do I keep getting a Bank Alert in my Banking section, telling me that QBO and my bank are working to fix my connection, and the notice is from before I signed up?
I'm getting an alert because there are serious issues importing from Bank of America--there were issues with it when I signed up and when I connected my accounts, so it was a known issue and no one told me anything about it. So far I am incredibly disappointed in this service.
The data downloaded into the QuickBooks system will depend on the information shared by your bank. Any security updates or maintenance from your financial institution's website will affect the connection of our program.
If there are problem with the connection, I highly recommend performing a manual update to refresh the connection.
Go to Banking on the left panel.
Click on the Banking link.
Select the account you’re working on.
Next, click on the Update button.
