Receipt won't match transaction

I'm currently have a receipt that I'm having trouble. I've uploaded it to match with thats an expenses of $59. I review and accept the transaction in the banking tab but then in the receipts tab the receipt I've uploaded won't match to the transaction and if I fill out the receipt info manually and add it, it adds another $59 to my books which then puts it all out of whack when it comes to reconciling etc. 

 

How do I match receipts to transactions/expenses when it wont automatically match them?

Receipt won't match transaction

Hey there, @border2border.

 

QuickBooks Online matched the downloaded transaction with the one you already entered. This links the transactions, so there aren't any duplicates. All you have to do is make sure the match is correct.

 

There are several reasons you may not be able to automatically find a match. These may include the following:

  • The transaction is outside of the date range you are searching.
  • The difference to resolve is too large.
  • The sales receipt is over 90 days old.

 

You'll have to verify the transaction and make sure that it hasn't been previously matched to another transaction. If you're still unable to match them, you can remove the receipts and import them again.
